Jason was born and raised in the Cedar Rapids area, and Troy Turf Co. was built here.
The company’s core service area includes Marion, Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha and Robins, with select projects and commercial partnerships considered outside the immediate area.

Built With a Goal.
Jason Troy started Troy Turf Co. in 2019 as a part-time lawn care business with a long-term goal: build something he was passionate about into his full-time career.
He started with what he knew and loved—making lawns beautiful and keeping them in pristine condition.
As Jason’s experience and clientele grew, so did Troy Turf Co. Landscaping followed. Then landscape lighting, irrigation, turf services, material delivery and seasonal snow removal.
In 2026, seven years after Troy Turf Co. began, Jason reached the goal he’d been working toward from the start and took the business full time.
Today, Troy Turf Co. serves homeowners, associations and commercial properties throughout the Cedar Rapids area while staying true to the standards that built the company.

When he’s not supervising from the truck or tagging along with Jason, he’s presumably making sure Troy Turf Co.’s quality-control standards remain appropriately high.
